Taylor Swift surprised everyone yesterday when she "pulled a Beyonce" and announced a new album title, cover and single within a few minutes.

1989>'s "Shake It Off" steps away from her country tunes a bit to incorporate pop and catchy horns for a certified hit. The video, though, references certain hip-hop stereotypes that have stirred some controversy for being offensive. The clip shows Swift indulging in different dance techniques with a few of them being breakdancing and twerking.

Last night, Earl Sweatshirt voiced his opinion on her video, saying that the images depicted were "inherently offensive." Read his tweets below. Do you agree or disagree?

Haven't watched the taylor swift video and I don't need to watch it to tell you that it's inherently offensive and ultimately harmful. Perpetuating black stereotypes to the same demographic of white girls who hide their prejudice by proclaiming their love of the culture. For instance, those of you who are afraid of black people but love that in 2014 it's ok for you to be trill or twerk or say nigga.
