Jeezy Says Jay Z Cried When He Wrote His Verse For “Seen It All”

Jay Z rarely ever shows any emotions. The rapper has made a career of stringing together hits with a cool and calm demeanor. According to Young Jeezy, when the two collaborated on his single, “Seen It All”, the soulful Cardo produced record, pulled Hov’s heart strings. In actuality, it was soulful enough to make Jay Z cry, revealed Jeezy during his interview with MTV News.

“We got on the phone and [Jay] was like, ‘Yo, Jeezy, when I was writing the verse I had tears in my eyes, man,’ because it took him so far back to Marcy,” Jeezy said. “Every bar in that song was real — I put my hand on the bible.”

Jay has always gave some of his most memorable verses on Young Jeezy tracks, like “My President Is Black (Remix)”, “I Do”, “Put On” (Remix), and “Go Crazy” (Remix)

Jeezy’s album Seen It All, will be out September 2nd.
