Slim Thug Responds To Backlash For Referring To Chicago As “Chiraq”

Slim Thug might have made himself an enemy among Chicagoans. The Houston rapper recently put his foot in his mouth when he issued a series of tweets in effort to recruit NBA player and current free agent Carmelo Anthony to play for the Houston Rockets.

While the  "No Flex Zone (Remix)" rapper's tweets may have seemed harmless, they did not go over well with the people of Chicago. Slim Thug’s joke about Chicago’s violence in reference to the street banger “Chiraq” lead him to soon tweet a retraction offering up better things to say about the Windy City.
