July has been filled with slept-on gems. At the beginning of the month, hip-hop saw the official return of Cam’ron, who kicked off his 1st Of The Month EP series and brought it back to the Dipset days. Besides the hoopla around Killa, Trey Songz dropped his sixth studio LP Trigga as well. But a lot of excitement was for Lil Durk’s highly anticipated Signed To The Streets 2. The follow-up to the first installment—which had big songs like “Dis Ain’t What U Want” and “Bang Bros”—stands on its own with bigger joints over production by Cardo, Young Chop and more. Now, XXL is premiering the DJ-less version of Durk’s latest tape.

While DJ Drama and Don Cannon’s drops are gone, it allows for the 2014 XXL Freshman to be front and center. Heavy hitters like “Party,” “Gas And Mud” and “I Made It” are available for you to add to your playlists or mixes for the summer. All it takes is the right one to set it off. Based on his recent string of hits, the Chicago rapper can definitely get it done.

Keep an eye out for Durk’s upcoming single "Get Dat Money" featuring French Montana and Chris Brown, as well as his Def Jam debut album Remember My Name.
