Joe Budden has been a busy man as of late. After he and his group Slaughterhouse recently dropped their mixtape House Rules last month, he was signed on to lend his voice as the narrator for BET's four part documentary entitled, "The Message." Joe Budden spoke to Rickey Smiley's Morning Show in regards to his distinctive rap voice and what contributed to its development.

“I just want to say probably between all of the horrible things I’ve done in life,” he said, during his interview on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show. “Cigarettes and drugs mixed with some genetics. That’s probably what does it.”

Joe Budden is also prepping for his battle with Hollow Da Don next month, marking his first official battle since his Mouse days.
