The success of Jay Z and Beyoncé's On The Run tour is just one of the reason's why the couple was named as one of the most powerful celebrity couples in the world. The pair that brought in an estimated $165 million this year, claim the number one and number six spot on Forbes' annual Celebrity 100 list.
Forbes’ has named Beyoncé the most powerful celebrity in the world. Dr. Dre’s deal with Apple wasn’t even enough for him to take the title. Thanks to the $2.4 million Queen B collected from her Mrs. Carter World Tour 2014, she was able to be out Dre, LeBron James and even Oprah .
According to Forbes’ the tour only contributed to portioned of the star’s wealth. Partnerships with H&M and Pepsi, along with fragrance and clothing lines, not to mention her No. 1 self-titled album help bring in a estimated $115 million between June 1, 2013 and June 1, 2014.
Her husband Jay Z also ranked high on the list at number six, bringing in an estimated $60 million in earnings from his most recent album Magna Carta , label Roc Nation and businesses such as the 40/40 Nightclub and D’Ussé cognac.
As for next year, with the projected success of their just launched tour, the couple is likely to reclaim the throne.
