Dave Chappelle Recalls Meeting Kanye West For The First Time

Nowadays, it seems nobody thinks more of Kanye West than Kanye West, but apparently Yeezy has been like that since day one. Dave Chappelle was recently a guest on The Tonight Show and recalled his first encounter with the then unknown producer. According to Chappelle, he knew West would be a star from day one because he acted like one even when no one knew him. "[Kanye] was like Mohamed Ali in Olympic Village. He just knew he was going to get the gold," said Chappelle. He went on recount the meeting revealing how Ye shouted out his own shout out and made sure to inform an incoming caller of his baller lifestyle.
