Today we gave you Brooklyn's own Troy Ave. as part of  XXL‘s 2014 Freshmen list revealed last Mon., May 5, on BET’s 106 & Park.  The BSB leader celebrated his spot on the cover with the release of BSB Vol. 4, and is set to drop his forthcoming mixtape, Bricks In My Backpack 4: Major Without A Deal,  but months ago Troy was in the XXL office pitching to be on the Freshmen cover with intensity and his eyes on the prize.
