Common is definitely putting on for his city. For the cover of his new album Nobody’s Smiling, the Chicago rapper headed back home and enlisted help from some of the city’s up and coming talent for the shoot.

According to Fake Shore Drive rappers such as King Louie, Lil Herb, G Count, KD Young Cocky, Dreezy and XXL Freshman Lil Bibby were out to show support.

The veteran rapper has had no problem showing his love for Chi-town’s new talent.  He has expressed in the past that he is fond of Herb and Bibby as well as two other 2014 Freshmen Vic Mensa and Chance The Rapper.

To commemorate such big experience Common took to Instagram to share some behind the scenes footage.

Guess this is just another one of the ways Common is helping his city.
