After recently inking a new management deal, Big Boi has recently announced he has signed a new record deal as well. The OutKast member will be rejoining L.A. Reid, this time at Epic Records. "I just signed a deal with Epic Records," Big Boi recently told Huffington Post's Paul Cantor. "So I'm back with L.A. Reid and Sylvia Rhone. Got a brand new situation. I signed the deal the day after the first Coachella date, that Saturday."

L.A. Reid signed OutKast to their first recording contract at LaFace Records in 1992. He again recruited Daddy Fat Sacks to Island Def Jam as a solo artist. Big Boi's last two albums, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty and Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors were released via Def Jam. Big explained the comfort factor of rolling with Reid, a familiar face. "That's my mentor," said the ATLien. "He understands my music. And one thing about L.A. Reid, there are no creative restraints. He trusts my ear and let's me make the music I want to make. We love being in business together. That's my big brother."

Along with a busy festival schedule, the more active member of OutKast is currently working on his next solo project as well as an collaborative effort with Phantogram.
