There will not be a second season of The Arsenio Hall Show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The show was actually renewed in February but today CBS Television Distribution decided to cancel the show. CBS said in a statement that the show failed to grow a bigger audience and thanked Arsenio Hall and their station group partners for their support.

This was Hall’s second time as the host of a syndicated talk show. The Arsenio Hall Show launched in September 2013 and aired in most places starting at 11 p.m. The first and second half of the show went head-to-head with local news, off-network syndicated shows, the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live and CBS’ Late Show With David Letterman and the show just couldn’t compete consistently.
