Nas has been on a hell of a press run celebrating the 20th anniversary of his classic debut LP Illmatic—which hits the two decade mark Saturday, April 19—and tonight he performed at the Tribeca Film Festival after the premiere of the new documentary Time Is Illmatic. The doc was screened at the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan in front of a star-studded crowd that included original Illmatic contributors Pete Rock and Large Professor as well as icons such as Eric B., DJ Kool Herc and Marley Marl and younger contemporaries of the Queens spitter such as Wale, Fabolous, DJ Khaled and Alicia Keys.

With so much respect in the house, it's only natural that Twitter had a field day, despite the relative lack of service in the building. Here are some of the best tweets and Instagrams from tonight's premiere. One love.
