They say put your best face forward and in the rap game, a face or head tattoo shows crazy dedication to your craft. Rappers are constantly getting inked up and the craze is spreading beyond the normal body parts to the face. The head is one of the most popular spots to ink at the moment and although the choice to ink a face leaves many puzzled, it's not like if one quits rapping, they can go for a regular nine to five job.

Some artists, like New Jersey's Fetty Wap, tattoo the name of their clique on their face. Rick Ross famously tatted the logo of the Miami heat on the side of temple and Kanye West nearly put numerals along his hairline (until wife Kim Kardashian talked him out of it). Others, like Atlanta music machine Gucci Mane, who dons an ice cream cone on his cheek or Bompton MC YG who debuted his fresh, full on skull tattoo of the Virgin Mary last fall, seem to just act on impulse and are addicted to inking every inch of their body.
