NYC Club Known For Drake-Chris Brawl May Be Closing For Good

Manhattan based clubs Greenhouse and W.i.P have been a staple in the hip-hop community for years now with an album release party or celebrity spotting happening weekly. As recently as this past weekend, French Montana and Khloe Kardashian were seen together at the club and, if you recall, it is the same club where Drake and Chris Brown got into their infamous brawl.

Now, the New York Post is reporting that the conjoined clubs are shutting down and may never reopen their doors.“The Varick Street nightclubs were closed down by the police early Saturday for having too many customers and blasting music above the legal limit,”the sources said.“A day later, a sign outside the club claimed it was closed for renovations, with no indication of when the doors would reopen.”

“Sources said Greenhouse and W.i.P. share the same liquor license, and they may be gone for good because it expires at the end of the month and owners have not applied for a new one.”-Peter Walsh
