Chief Keef was reportedly taken into police custody early this morning following an shooting incident in a Chicago suburb. According to reports, the incident took place at a home in Northfield, Illinois that is owned by someone affiliated with the troubled rap star, born, Keith Cozart. According to the Northfield Police Department, the victim of the shooting was taken to a local hospital and remains in ICU. Chicago's local new channel WGN is reporting that the victim called the news station saying he was shot by the rapper. Keef's lawyer has reportedly released a statement saying Sosa was present during the shooting but did not fire a weapon. Police have not confirmed nor denied whether Keef has been arrested, but someone close to the rapper's camp revealed that he was taken into police custody. It is unclear if he is still being detained.
