Asher Roth is gearing up to release his forthcoming album entitled RetroHash, which is also an anagram of his popular moniker. The former XXL Freshman explained the project as, "a record of renewal and self-discovery," in a profile with Billboard. The "I Love College" rapper describes the project as a proper sequel to his popular Asleep In The Bread Aisle, and acknowledges he hasn't "been able to sell music in five years" because of various issues.

In addition to releasing RetroHash, Roth plans on embarking on a tour to coincide with the LP's April 22 release, including a March 15 live listening session that will include an appearance from Pharcyde. The artistic offering was fully produced by Blended Babies, and boasts a feature from XXL Freshmen Class of 2014 candidate Vic Mensa on a track called "Fast Life."
