Jay Z is home. On Sunday night (Jan. 12), Hov brought the Magna Carta World Tour to Brooklyn. Instead of putting on a huge spectacle with an innovative stage design like Drake and Kanye West, Jay opted for a pure rap performance. The 44-year-old played a set of old and new, mixing in songs from Magna Carta … Holy Grail that were met with a positive response. But, it was his more familiar songs like “On To The Next One” or “99 Problems” that never failed to disappoint. With such a long history of hits, a Jay Z concert in 2014 still holds up as one of the best. Click through our photo recap of the show above.
