Bad news for Chris Brown and fans of the legally troubled artist. The “Fine China” artist appeared at a Los Angeles court for a progress hearing and was denied probation...again.

On Monday (12/16/13,) Supreme Court Judge James R. Brandin ruled against Breezy in the midst of his most recent arrest, a misdemeanor assault charge in Washington DC.

This marks the second time in 2013 that Brown has been denied probation. A decision was ruled against the performer after accusations of his involvement in a hit-and-run accident in Los Angeles. To make matters worse, according to his probation report, the crooner has only completed 60 of his 1,000 required hours of community service - leaving many concerned, considering the ordeal occurred over the summer.

The singer’s progress stemming from his voluntary stay in rehab may save him, supposedly Judge Brandin was so impressed with Brown’s improvements, that he’s scheduled a follow-up hearing for February 10, 2014.—Christian Bonoan
