Recently there have been some low level rumors that there was some type of friction between talented NY outfits A$AP Mob and Pro Era. A$AP Mob's A$AP Ferg, A$AP Nast and A$AP Twelvy recently addressed the speculation in a recent interview on Hot 97's Morning Show. "Negative, not true," replied Ferg after being asked to confirm if there was any problems between the crews. "Those are the little bros."

A$AP Nast said he thinks the rumors come from fans who may have taken exception with the crews' similar musical directions. "It wasn't any of the main members, that I know of," said Nast. "I'm not taking it as a Pro Era [vs.] A$AP until any of them speak up and say something directly."

Speaking of friction, Trinidad James made people hot with his recent comments about New York, sparking a few angry reactions. Ferg touched on the situation saying he thinks there may have been a motive behind the "All Gold Everything" rappers comments. "I just feel like he has an album coming out and he don't have a single," said Ferg agreeing with Peter Rosenberg that the Atlanta rapper may have been trolling. "That's still the homie. You gotta make some type of noise. Everybody does it."
