Production Starts In New 50 Cent TV Series ‘Power’

The forthcoming TV series Power, which will be executive produced by and co-star 50 Cent, has begun production, reports AllHipHop. The show, which has been picked up by the STARZ network, recently began shooting in New York City.

Power will depict the tale of James “Ghost” St. Patrick, a wealthy club owner who is trying to shake his drug dealing past. Patrick will be played by Omari Hardwick. The series will also feature 3LW member Naturi Naughton (Notorious), Lela Loren (Gang Related), Joseph Sikora (Boardwalk Empire), and La La Anthony. Fif has procured the role of Kanan, the best friend of the main character.The series is set to debut in 2014.
