Hit-Boy sat down with Life+Times and spoke on a number of topics, one was working with Drake in the Studio. Drake previewed the Hit-Boy-produced “Trophies” while performing at the Barclays Center for his Would You Like A Tour? Tour in New York City this past monday.

Hit points out that Drake is "100% the pickiest artist, like as far as when it comes to beats" He goes on stating "I’ve never met an artist who is so in tune with what his voice is going to sound right over, so you play him the shit you think is the best beat of all time, and he’ll be like, “That’s not really it. That’s not what I’m looking for.” Sometimes it’s frustrating, but hey man, his projects are awesome and I know the ideas we have in the pipeline – wherever they end up – they’re amazing. The world needs to hear them."

He also touched on what he has planned for the future. The California native has been producing for a lot of people this year, from fellow HS87 member Audio Push to Jay Z, and is looking to display his growth as both a producer but as a rapper. "I’m super excited about my new music." says Hit-Boy.  "I’m a whole new artist, I’m a whole new person, I’m a whole new producer. So I’m excited for people to hear my progress if nothing else."
