Well it’s been an adventurous couple of days for Gucci Mane, to say the least. After an epic Twitter tirade that ended with him calling out just about every rapper in Atlanta in addition to Drake, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and a whole host of others, he may have just caught the hip-hop world’s attention enough to drop an album. Since taking the whole of today off from the social network, Guwop hopped back on the tweets to announce that he’ll be dropping an album at 10:17 tonight (September 10) on iTunes.

The album, according to Gucci, is to be called Diary of a Trap God, and if it has anything to do with the past three days, it’s set to be one hell of a diary. Or wait, does that first tweet—which appears to be announcing he’ll be dropping a track called “Stealing” featuring OJ Da Juiceman tonight—what’s really dropping? Is “Stealing” set to be Diary‘s first single? Was this whole thing a publicity stunt to build buzz for his new album? XXL has reached out to Gucci’s rep for comment, and will update if and when we hear back.
What is real anymore? With Gucci, it seems hard to tell. Tell us some of your conspiracy theories right here.
