Earl Sweatshirt Says ‘EarlWolf’ Project With Tyler, The Creator Will Happen
Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler, The Creator have been teasing about their joint project EarlWolf since at least last year. The rappers have even recently been performing as a duo at Eminem’s European tour. According to Earl, the album will happen but only if the two artists can record the LP together in a timely fashion. “We’ll do the record when we’re ready to sit down for a month and a half and do it in one,” Earl recently told NME citing his experience crafting his own album. “It’d be shitty if it was spread out. That’s how I want to do shit from now on; that’s what I learned from doing Doris. Trying to piece shit together that’s hella spread out kinda sucks. You hit a lot more walls trying to make it sync,” he added.
Earl released his debut LP, Doris last month.
