Kanye West made a surprise appearance at the show of Freshman class member and Yeezus collaborator Travi$ Scott last night, shocking the audience at the El Rey Theatre in L.A. Taking a break from being the dad to the world's most mysterious baby, West performed a brain-melting version of his Yeezus stand-out "New Slaves." While this video doesn't have the startling immediacy and intimacy of his SNL performance—try to get used to the shaky camera and all those bobbing phones—it does have the whole audience collectively going insane.

West shows up around the 1:30 mark of the video, wearing a black hoodie and rapping along with the crowd as they scream their heads off. Seriously, the screams are almost louder than the song itself. Where will Kanye show up next? Can we expect him at the shows of other Yeezus collaborators like King Louie or Chief Keef? Maybe Bon Iver?
