#Been #Trill’s Best Collaborations To Date
Kanye's creative director and longtime confidant Virgil Abloh is known for staying busy. When he's not helping Yeezy out with fashion decisions, he's helping run DONDA—the creative agency that's designed cover art for everyone from Lil Wayne to 2 Chainz to Big Sean—and DJ'ing as one-third (alongside Heron Preston and Matthew Williams) of DJ squad #Been #Trill. The #Trill team doesn't only DJ though, as they've also emerged as a self-sustaining collective that finds time to work on clothing designs and fashion merchandising. In recent months, they've worked with everyone from upstart hat designer 40 Oz. VAN to legendary street wear brands Stussy and Diamond Supply. Check out their best collaborations to date.
#Been #Trill x 40 Oz VAN Snapback
40 Oz VAN, a NYC-based designer, really came out of nowhere with his snapback collection that took the street wear game by storm. With echoes of the allover print era, his hats celebrated in-your-face embroidery, and #Been #Trill came through to add a bit of their own flare to the already-cool piece.
#Been #Trill x Diamond Supply T-Shirt & Long-Sleeve Shirt
With their biggest release to date, #Been #Trill teamed up with Diamond Supply Co. for a collection of tees and long-sleeve shirts. The products ended up being sold in PacSun, which was a huge win for the collaborators. According to Diamond Supply's Nicky Diamonds, the PacSun deal came about because "Kanye knows the CEO of PacSun, supposedly, so when it came time for this it just clicked."
#Been #Trill x SSUR Snapback
In a similar collaboration to their link-up with 40 Oz VAN, Been Trill added their own patches and intricate embroidery to SSUR's classic snapback. The final version features the #Been #Trill logo as well as logos from The Misfits and a crossboned-Yankees logo.
#Been #Trill x Stussy Hoodie
Stussy has long been the go-to label for street wear fanatics all over the world, so it was a huge look for #Been #Trill to team up with the California-based brand. For their collab, #Been #Trill took a straightforward black Stussy hoodie and covered it with crisp designs and imagery that include (you guessed it) skulls, dice, crowns and a couple magic 8 balls, accented of course by their own bleeding logo.
#Been #Trill x APC x Kanye West T-Shirt
Kanye made fashion headlines when he announced that he'd partnered up with famed French label APC for a capsule collection. Not surprisingly, 'Ye also tossed a collaboration with Virgil into the collection for a #Been #Trill Trippy Symphony tee, featuring creepy, skeleton-filled imagery.
#Been #Trill x Hood By Air T-Shirt
After Rocky shouted out the Hood By Air label on multiple songs, HBA experienced a major resurgence in popularity. Fittingly, they teamed up with the buzzing #Been #Trill boys for a line of tees and long-sleeve numbers that match both brands' straightforward, clean-cut aesthetic.
