On his debut album Radioactive (2011), Alabama hero Yelawolf teamed up with fellow Southerner Gangsta Boo for a track called "Throw It Up." Now, Yela has announced that he would be keeping it country by teaming up with another Memphis icon in DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia. In a caption for an Instagram photo, Yela said, "The Legendary DjPaul of 3.6 and I have decided to do an Album !! .. Using ALL heavy metal and hard rock samples and inspiration." The mixtape will serve as a delayed followup to his classic rock-inspired 2008 mixtape Stereo.

Yelawolf also went on to tease the forthcoming, oft-delayed Country Cousins project (a collaborative mixtape with Big K.R.I.T.) by saying, "Between this project and CountryCousins with #BigKrit .. My plate is full .. And my catalog .. Is getting stronger." Stay tuned to XXL for more info on Yela's forthcoming musical endeavors.
