J. Cole continues to see more success. The fight for the top spot is officially over, as Born Sinner reaches No. 1 on the Billboard 200 after three weeks.
His sophomore set spent two weeks at No. 2, where he was behind Kanye West’s Yeezus. The week before, Cole was behind Wale’s The Gifted. Currently, Cole’s album sold 439,000 copies, which he needs 60,000 more to reach Gold status.
Cole’s Born Sinner marks his second album that has reached No. 1. He expressed his gratitude to his fans on Twitter after hearing the news:
3 weeks later. #1 Album in the country. Born Sinner. Thank You
