Florida Woman Faces Charges After Leaving Children In Car To Attend Lil Wayne Concert

Lil Wayne sure does have a strange affect on some people. A South Florida woman is facing charges of child neglect after leaving her two young children in a car while she attended a Weezy concert, reports WFTV Orlando.

Brittany Nicole Harris, 25, drove to see the America's Most Wanted Tour on Sunday (July 14) at Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida with her two children, ages 3 and 5. But when it was time to enter the venue, Harris left the children in the vehicle. Employees eventually spotted and questioned the kids who revealed that their mother was attending the concert. Authorities arrived on the scene and accosted the woman as she returned to the car after the show.

Harris was arrested on two counts of child neglect. She later made $20,000 bond and was released. The children were placed in the custody of child welfare workers.
