Dom Kennedy doesn't do a lot of interviews, but TheStashed's new video series entitled Homegrown got a chance to interview the West Coast spitter and they spoke on a number of topics. In part one of the interview, Dom talks about himself as an artist, the Yellow Album and the music industry. He discusses how he got such a cult following and the reason why he's not big on social media. He goes on to touch on his upcoming project, Get Home Safely, which drops later this summer. He also questions himself after the Yellow Album, asking himself if he wants to continue doing music: “I’m not a rapper. I never made no money in the music industry.” Watch part one of the video above.
