Lil Reese was sent to bond court on Sunday for a misdemeanor theft charge involving a BMW, the Sun-Times reports.
Lil Reese—real name Tavares Taylor—is back in court for the second time in less than two months. In April, Reese was caught sleeping in his car while police arrested him on a warrant.
Court records said the 20-year-old “presented false documentation to obtain a 2006 BMW 750 Li on April 13.” Authorities would not elaborate on the details of his case.
Reese was taken into custody on Saturday. Cook County Judge Adam Bourgeois Jr. set the bail for the troubled rapper at $5,000.
