Guess which Brooklyn rhymeslinger is coming to Times Square for a performance?

According to the New York Post, Jay-Z is reportedly planning a surprise concert atop the Ed Sullivan Theater next month during rush hour. Although the plan has yet to be finalized, hosting a show in that area would require police to shut down surrounding streets and buildings, one of which is the studio where David Letterman hosts The Late Show."

“If he gets permission from the mayor’s office, it’s going to be off the hook,” a law enforcement agent told the Post. “They’ll have to shut down Broadway around the Letterman building. They’ll have to have a strong police presence. It’s going to be chaos with so many fans.”

Jay apparently attempted to throw a concert at this location three years ago, but was shut down.
