Hit-Boy Parts Ways With G.O.O.D. Music

All good things must come to an end. Producer, Hit-Boy, who signed with Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label in 2011, and went on to score hits like, "Niggas In Paris" and "Clique," has parted ways with the label. Hot 97's Miss Info recently sat down with the Surf Club boss at the 2013 BET Awards Radio room where the popular Cali producer/rapper revealed that he is no loger with Yeezy's imprint and is focusing on his own label, HS87.

"I got nothing but respect for Kanye," he started out, "I'm no longer a part of G.O.O.D. Music anymore. But HS87, that's where my heart is. That's what I'm repping." He went on to say that there was nothing sinister about the split, noting that he had fulfilled his contractual obligations and it was time to move on. "I committed by contract. I just did what I was supposed to do. I did six, seven singles, just did what I was supposed to do."

HB also touched on what he thinks about Kanye's polarizing new album, Yeezus.
