Grammy Award-winning singer Frank Ocean is being sued over the song “Lost,” which originally appeared on his album Channel Orange.

Micah Otano, who is a producer and songwriter, filed a lawsuit in United States District Court, a few days ago. Otano claims that he wrote a song called “Daylight” with producer Malay. Malay is named in the lawsuit, as well as Island Def Jam and Universal.

The suit says Malay took all of the production credit for “Lost.” It claims that Otano co-produced the song and he was never credited. It also accuses that Malay copied “Daylight” and passed off the song as “Lost.”

Otano is seeking an unspecified amount of back royalties and damages.

Earlier in February, Channel Orange won a Grammy for Best Urban Contemporary Album, beating out Chris Brown’s Fortune and Miguel’s Kaleidoscope Dream.
