Drug Kingpin “Freeway” Rick Ross to be Played by Nick Cannon

Will the real "Freeway" Rick Ross please stand up? There's been a problem since the Miami rapper Rick Ross embarked on a full-out career with the former West Coast drug kingpin's nomenclature. After years of independent campaign to get his story properly told for the public, the real "Freeway" Ricky Ross will get his side of the story on the silver screen. According to the former kingpin, Nick Cannon has signed on to play him for an upcoming biopic.

"I've been wanting him to play my role since '96. We got hooked up, I met him I love his personality," said Rick Ross in a footage above.

"However long it takes, his story has got to be told," added Nick Cannon.
