DJ Paul Sentenced to Community Service After Weapons Arrest
Three 6 Mafia’s DJ Paul is finally receiving his sentence after carrying a taser around New York City last year. TMZ reports that he will be sentenced to community service.
Local authorities stopped DJ Paul after he left a restaurant with an open beer in his hand in October. Instead of resisting arrest, Paul admitted he was carrying a taser at the time. He was arrested for misdemeanor possession of a weapon and charged with carrying an open container.
While Paul originally pled not guilty to the charges, the rapper settled on a plea deal with prosecutors. He agreed to plead guilty to disorderly contact.
He was sentenced to 21 hours of community service.
