Chief Keef is sure creating quite a buzz. Having the likes of Kanye West, Pusha T and Jadakiss jump on the remix of his “I Don’t Like” single definitely helps. Most recently, Keef has caught the eye of YMCMB co-CEO Birdman.

During an interview with MTV News earlier this week, Cash Money's "#1 Stunna" revealed that he's poised on signing the 16-year old rap sensation to his ever-expanding roster.

"I like him, he kinda reminds me of us," says Birdman, as he was speaking on the Chi-Town rapper with MTV RapFix host Sway Calloway. "[He's] out in the streets, I think he's swagged up and I'm definitely talking to his people and I'd like to see if we can make it pop, see if I can get him to be down with the team."

It was just last month that burgeoning rapper mentioned Birdman reaching out to him, which was on the same night Kanye tweeted that he would be remixing his "I Don't Like" record. "Birdman Just Called He Say He Wanna Sign Me Wit #CMB." he tweeted.

In fact when XXLMag.com spoke to Keef last week, the rapper spoke lightly on the talks with Cash Money saying, "Birdman reaching out to sign me and [he] showing love." "[Cash Money is] one of the few places [I'm] considering signing to."

While there's still no official word on where he plans on signing to, Keef's current "I Don't Like" G.O.O.D. Music remix is sure to place more label options on his table.—Ralph Bristout
