What a coincidence. As he celebrates the release of his collaborative Welcome To Strangeland LP today (November 8), rapper Tech N9ne is also ringing in his 40th birthday.
The Kansas City spitter has been putting in work for years since his 1999 debut, The Calm Before the Storm. Since then, he’s managed to drop a boat load of albums and EPs including a mixtape in 2010, (Bad Season), not to mention being held as one of the game’s most successful independent artist.
Just last June, he garnered his first taste of commercial success with his twelfth studio album, All 6’s And 7’s, as it debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart.
With a slew of achievements and more to come, XXL wishes a happy g-day to Tech Nina. Salute. —Ralph Bristout
