Soulja Boy Buys $55 Million Private Jet for Himself

Soulja Boy sure knows the meaning of celebrating big.

TMZ reports the 21-year-old rapper dropped $55 million on a new private jet as a birthday present to himself this week. The jet cost $35 mil, but the b-day boy is investing another $20 million into it to pimp his new ride out. Included in the renovations are 12 custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, four liquor bars, a special travertine tiled floor and Brazilian hardwood cabinets as well as a gut-job to the in-flight lavatory and a custom paint job to include his logo throughout.

As if that weren't enough for someone barely legal, the entertainment website also reports S.B. is spending $300,000 to throw himself a lavish birthday party at a Miami nightclub tonight (July 29). Basketball player Dwight Howard, Bow Wow and Sean Kingston are among the guests expected to attend.—Mariel Concepcion
