Last week during an interview with CBS, rapper Lupe Fiasco made the statement that President Obama is the "biggest terrorist." Now, Prodigy, one-half of the rap group Mobb Deep, has publicly stated that he shares Lupe's sentiments.

"I would have to agree with him," Prodigy said during a Q&A with hiphopdx.com. "Most of these politicians and these government officials... most of them are the real terrorists."

Prodigy also says that during his recent jail bid, he kept up with politics, including Obama's presidency. "I was definitely checking [Obama] out and seeing what he was doing and what he was about," he says. "But I already knew ahead of time – I’ve been studying all that type of stuff since like 15,16 years old, so… You can’t pull the wool over my eyes. I already know what time it is.

"There’s nothing you can say to confuse me about any of that type of stuff," he continues. "I know it’s all a game that they’re playing. It’s all a facade."

Back in March, Prodigy was released from prison after serving a three-year term for criminal possession of a weapon. He recently released  his autobiography, "My Infamous Life," has three other books in the works, and is in the studio working on a new Mobb Deep album, slated for September.—XXL Staff
