Earlier today B.o.B dropped “No Future,” a diss track aimed at Tyler, the Creator shocking rap fans and especially the Odd Future lead man.
Tyler hopped on Twitter to respond to the song. “Whoa,” he wrote. “I Don’t Think The ‘No Future’ Song Is Even A Diss. But, Ive Never Heard Him Spit Like That. Took Me By Surprise, Cus Its Tight.”
While it seems as if The Creator has more respect for Bobby Ray now, the good words ended there. “Still Hate That Airplanes Song Tho,” he said. “It Has The Same Chord Progression As Fucking ‘Love The Way You Lie’ And That One Song By Katy Perry. Actually, All The Music Now Days Have The Same Chord Progression, With That Dumbass Techno Synth, Or Like, Garage Band Drums.”
Bobby seemed to catch feelings after hearing Tyler’s barbs on “Yonkers.” “(What you think of Hayley Williams?) F**k her, Wolf Haley robbin’ ‘em/ I’ll crash that f**kin’ airplane that that faggot nigga B.o.B is in/ And stab Bruno Mars in his goddamn esophagus/ And won’t stop until the cops come in,” he spit on the song.
On No Future, B.o.B raps: “You see this shit I gotta deal with from these beginners?/ I ain’t circusin’ around with these clown ass niggas/ You snappin’ at the heels of a world class sprinter.”
Later he adds: “Body blow, upper cut, I do more than bruise ya/ Keep fu**in’ with me, you ain’t gon’ have no future.”

Haha.. I was wonderin if Bobby was gon’ respond to that.. That’s what’s up. I fucks wit both of em’ tho.. “Yonkers” is the most disturbing video I seen in a while and I mean that in a good way actually.. Tyler is a creative, talented dude and Bobby is a force to be reckoned with as well.
It’s funny, with OF being so fresh in the game I didn’t take the BOB line in Yonkers as a diss, I mean, he didn’t really have a reason (to my knowledge) to diss him. But it’s dope that BOB responded, and it’s dope that Tyler isn’t actin’ all suprised like he didn’t throw the first punch. That’s a part of hip hop. I’m an OF fan myself, but BOB is tight. I’m interested to see where this goes.

2) From the verse you provided, where is the metaphors that smash B.O.B.? Even without a comparative word such as “like” or “as”, a direct comparison is a simile all day long
3) If you are supporting O.F. because they are independent right now, then what will you do when they go major? Because that is all fine and dandy if you are some one who likes Pitchfork Media, but all I hear about O.F. is their antics, not their music. Translation: They seem like Hipster Rap, and no cares about that in the long run
4) F*ckin’ with Grand Hustle is like punching a full grown African Bull Elephant while it is in heat; just not smart, especially when you are doing it just to get attention

3. This just shows how little you know about OF. If you knew what you were talking about you would have known that they actually want to be mainstream.
1) As a person who is a fan of lyrical based hip-hop and the like, the fact that Tyler, the Creator is talking randomly and haphazardly about f*cking dinosaurs is a Red Flag/Yellow Card in my book
2) I am only comparing what undergroundnigga has given us, the readers of the comments, to compare, and what there is to compare is, from Tyler’s verse, is just sub-par
3) My sentiments exactly. I do not know sh*t about OD because their antics overshadow their work (save Frank Ocean) and, again, I am only going by what undergroundnigga is saying that OD will “destroy MAINSTREAM cats any fucking day”. If you have to come with a gimmick to grab someone’s ear, 9/10 your sh*t sucks. And no, I never refuted that OD wanted to be mainstream; starting beef with their mainstream counterpart (plus Hayley and Bruno) seems like a “great way” to get attention, which is why I made my forth point, that messing with Grand Hustle is not a smart move. I mean, as I said, if the fact that B.O.B. is mainstream and OD is underground is being stressed here, then that is right along the lines of Media Pitchfork thinking; giving anyone a pass just because they are underground/obscure/independent. I say let an artist work speak for itself, and with OD, it is just not happening
