Before the year is over, Lauryn Hill has surprisingly announced that she will be returning to the stage for a North American tour.

Beginning in New York City at the Highline Ballroom on Monday, December 27, Hill will continue to make 16 more club dates, with several shows  in the New York area. [See below]

"[I] may never play venues of this size again," Hill said in a statement about the tour.

Over the years, the former Fugees member has performed at several international music festivals, but has rarely engaged in any shows in the U.S. Yet just last summer she was added to the annual Rock the Bells line-up, where she recited her Grammy-award winning debut LP, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, in full.
