Mistah F.A.B. Teams With Jadakiss for “What Yo Hood Like”

Mistah F.A.B. is set to release a new album titled Son of a Pimp 2 on May 27. To build some anticipation for the LP, the Bay Area rapper drops a Pete Rock produced single called "What Yo Hood Like" featuring Jadakiss.

The production sets things off right as Pete Rock concocts yet another banger behind the boards. Mistah F.A.B. and Jadakiss show that their respective pen games are sharp as ever too. F.A.B. recently spoke to Billboard about the importance of each guest on the album.

"The features are pivotal and key and each song represents a story and a mood that brings the whole significance of the project together," F.A.B. told Billboard. "The reason or connections related to each feature is a story in and of itself."

Mistah F.A.B. pulled out an all-star lineup of guests with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Raekwon, Tech N9ne, Boosie BadAzz, Bun B, Fashawn, Lupe Fiasco, Snoop Dogg and 2 Chainz appearing on the LP. The Bay Area rapper said that this LP really informs the listener about who F.A.B. is.

"For the music lovers, this project embodies everything that I am; the diversity, versatility, my outlook on life, my perception on [everything from] the casual things to political things," F.A.B. said. "With Eminem, we knew [his daughter] Haley, his family life. With Tupac, we knew [his mother] Afeni, we knew his best friend Kato. With DMX, we knew who Boomer, his dog, was. You’re going to know who I am after listening to this album if you didn’t already know. I give it to you on all levels."
