Mick Jenkins' new album The Healing Component is set to drop on Friday (Sept. 23). Now, the Chicago rhymer unleashes track No. 12, "Fall Through" during an interview with Zane Lowe.

Mick's trademark wordplay and lyricism are on hand here, but the hook and the bridge are also striking. He addresses his haters on the first verse, rapping, "So sticks and stones I rub them off/At this hater conjunction I'm an apostrophe, above them all/That's why I keep my circle small."

On the second verse, Jenkins drops knowledge about his hometown of Chicago, spitting, "City really been on fire since 10Day/Shave the truffles on my penne I'm eating good/Nigga crooked but my pen straight I've been straight/Concentrating on these compositions/Fuck the opposition gotta do with my position?/Is it popping or is y'all just politicking."

In case you missed it, be sure to check out Jenkins' "Drowning" video with BadBadNotGood. He also recently linked with Webster X for the track "Blinded." You can listen to "Fall Through" above via Apple Music. Be sure to cop The Healing Component when it drops this Friday.
