Only one more episode left this season, and I, for one, am quite the happy camper about this. This season was absolutely painful to watch—let's hope that "Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta" is infinitely better.

So let's get to it:

The night kicked off with Raqi apologizing to Tahiry, thereby keeping her promise to Joe so she could get him on her show. Seeing how well these two got along up until this point, it should come as a surprise to no one that the apology devolved into a cat-fight, with Tahiry accusing Raqi of sleeping with Joe and having a unibrow, and Raqi accusing Tahiry of being broke and a stripper. That went well.

Meanwhile, Rich admitted not only to cheating on Erica with Tiffany, but encouraging Tiffany to get together with Erica on a romantic level "since I know you girls both like girls." How magnanimous of you, Richard. Needless to say, Rich's life is a hot ghetto mess, and after a passionate intervention by Olivia (who promised to leave Dollaz Unlimited if he didn't get his act together—not a bad idea, says this reviewer...) and Mama Dollaz (who could only ask if her son was using protection in this disgusting daisy chain—that's the least of his problems, says this reviewer...), Rich has decided that he's no longer going to be with Erica either personally or professionally. I'm sure that, next week, when Rich breaks the news to Erica, it's going to go fantastically, since it's been going so well all season. Erica, girl, get to Conway and get yourself a new lingerie set.

Jen the Pen was whining again. As Consequence said, he's just not in the mood for BS. Neither are we, Cons, neither are we. Mona Scott-Young, if you're reading this (and I know you are, lady...), please don't bring these two back next season.

Back over at Joe's house, he broke the news to Kaylin that not only is he going to the Dominican Republic with his ex-girlfriend Tahiry, but that he's not 100 percent sure he's not still in love with her. (Ray Charles, blind and dead, could have seen this coming...) Joe and Tahiry go off to the Dominican Republic, where absolute hilarity (not) ensues as Joe woos Tahiry with a candlelight dinner on the beach that was totally not staged at all.

For her part, Tahiry's two-fold mission in the Dominican Republic was to visit the children sponsored by the Orange Hearts charity—which provides various opportunities to displaced and poor children in both the Dominican Republic and the diaspora—and to confront the cheating bastard of her father. Now, it's pretty obvious to everyone with a pair of eyes that any woman who willingly poses for photos with her face down and butt-cheeks up—not to mention, "dates" every rapper in the greater NYC area and ends her "relationships" in a blaze of hellfire and brimstone—has some kind of issues with her father, and Tahiry is no different. Still, you have to give the old girl credit for confronting her father about those issues. Now let's hope she has enough sense of self to actually act upon this closure and resolution. (Probably not.)

Finally, the tale of Mandeecees and Yandy is not exactly ending on a positive note. Though the case itself wasn't discussed in detail on tonight's episode (probably for legal reasons), it is a crime on a Federal level, and it's been discussed on other blogs. Suffice it to say that Mandeecees, along with two other people—one being his brother—allegedly was involved in the transportation of illegal substances across various state lines. If he's convicted, he faces up to 20 years in Federal prison. I was so busy feeling sorry for Yandy—who, needless to say, is absolutely devastated over this—that I almost missed the "special guest appearance" by Kimbella (who needs, absolutely needs, to come back next season). Still, there's absolutely nothing snarky one can say about a man whose alleged criminal activities will leave his two young sons to grow up without a father—who will both be in their 20's when he is released, if he is convicted. Why don't these men ever think about the impact their activities will have on their children? I'll never understand.

Until next time, cats and kittens...
