Busta Rhymes has not had the most conventional year for a veteran rapper. Where some retreat into their catalog and become legacy acts, or where others try admirably to stay caught up with the times, Busta instead threw a protein shake at a gym employee. (He recently appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court and pleaded guilty to harassment.) Now, he returns to what got him here, dropping a new single with a trio of his fellow New York veterans. "Respect My Conglomerate 2" features Jadakiss, Fabolous and Styles P, and serves as the sequel to the 2009 original. (The first "Respect My Conglomerate" paired Busta and Jada with Lil Wayne and was included on Back on My B.S.) Busta's most recent full-length effort was 2012's Year of the Dragon; he's long been teasing a sequel to his seminal 1998 album, E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event): The Final World Front.
