Skepta’s collaboration with Nike on the Air Max 97 was considered one of the best sneaker releases of 2017. Looking to continue their partnership into the new year, it seems like the Swoosh and the U.K. rapper have something new cooking up for sneakerheads worldwide.

Skepta recently went on Instagram Live to announce the forthcoming collaboration, and showed an image featuring the SK Air logo and the Nike Swoosh in the right hand corner. Underneath Skepta and Nike’s logo, the Swoosh also added the wording “Part 2,” which indicates a second version of the Air Max Skepta silhouette could be releasing in the near future.

Skepta teamed up with Nike last summer for the release of the Air Max 97 SK. Dressed in an iridescent colorway with black accents, the shoe was well-received by sneakerheads, selling out in a matter of minutes.

As of now, there’s no release date for Skepta and Nike’s next collaborative silhouette, but keep it locked with XXL in the days to come to find out more details behind this next SK iteration.
