Jordan Brand will pay tribute to Michael Jordan's signature flight suit this fall with the release of five new colorways of the Air Jordan 5, inspired by the popular sportswear garment.

Worn by MJ during his rookie season year, the flight suit quickly became a trend in the mid-1980s after Jordan wore the suit in photoshoots for the Bred and Royal Air Jordan 1 campaign ads. To honor Jordan's message of flight and the popularity of the coveted suit, the Jumpman recreates five new Air Jordan 5 iterations in black, cement, camo, red and royal blue.

With the Air Jordan V releases starting this July, Jordan Brand will begin the roll out with the all-red colorway, dubbed as the Air Jordan V Flight Pack West, followed by the black-on-black version, a premium shoe that's named as the Air Jordan V Pinnacle. To kick off fall, the Jumpman will take cues from the Air Jordan IV colorway and release a Cement version Air Jordan V. A Camo iteration will follow, which takes its inspiration from a classic fighter plane design and the all-blue suede iteration, dubbed the Air Jordan V Flight Pack East, will round out the entire collection at the end of September.

The Air Jordan V collection will be available at select Jordan Brand retailers nationwide. Check out all of the Air Jordan V release dates below:
