One of the most classic colorways of the popular Nike Air Foamposite snakes returns in a winter-ready silhouette just in time for the new year. Set to release in the ever-popular “Eggplant” colorway, Nike presents the Nike Air Foamdome, a shoe inspired by the iconic Foamposite sneaker.

For this release, Nike gets inspired by the original 1997 model of the Foamposite, and gives this Air Foamdome similar features as the OG sneaker. Detailed with premium leather upper, the shoe is a mix between the Nike Air Max Goadome and the Air Foamposite shoe. Including the varsity purple and black colorways all through out the canvas of the shoes, the sneaker is rounded out by a Air Max unit on the midsole.

With the 20-year anniversary of the Nike Air Foamposite occurring in 2017, Nike gets the ball rolling for the celebration with the early release of this Nike Air Max Foamdome Eggplant. Now available at select Nike retailers, boutiques and online at nike.com, this pair of Foamdome's will be part of Nike's winter 2016-17 collection and will retail for a suggested price of $250 while supply lasts.
