Today (Jan. 21), Converse unveils its first ever collaboration on the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II with American street artist Futura. Featuring original artwork by the Brooklyn-based artist, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Futura collection adds a new weatherized rubber, creating a sneaker that is truly ready for the current season.

Designed for both, function and fashion, the collection combines Futura’s iconic abstract art style with a weather-ready sneaker, apparel and accessories collection. The new collection features camo printed rip-stop underlay and Futura’s distinct graphic artwork on the sneaker’s upper, lace and midsole. Available in both hi-top and ox, the Chuck II Futura has water resistant full rubber uppers and reflective laces. The Chuck II’s characteristic Nike Lunarlon sockliner receives its own graphic treatment and each sneaker includes a second set of foot-beds with collectible art.

The apparel collection includes a raglan tee updated with Futura’s signature graphic and matching camo design. In a nod to Futura’s graffiti roots and street style, a ski mask featuring reversible Converse camo in heavyweight woven cotton was also created as part of the collection.
