Following Nike's footsteps for 2016, Puma is gearing up to release their first-ever power-lacing sneaker. Serving as competition to Nike's Air Mag silhouette, the innovative technology from Puma will take the AutoDisc model and give it a futuristic touch like never before.

The sneaker, which was tested out earlier by Olympic world-class athlete Usian Bolt, will feature Disc technology on the tongue portion of the shoe. The disc will serve as a replacement for the typical shoelaces, which properly helps lockdown the sneaker to the consumers foot. With images of a predominantly black silhouette surfacing online, look for more details on Puma’s Power-Lacing sneaker to pop up within the weeks to come.
